Amsterdam's First Dog Meetup
is Happening July 19th
When Maxim and I started Happy Tails Club, we kept saying the same thing to each other: Amsterdam has an incredible dog community that just has not found each other yet. Dog owners pass each other every morning in Westerpark, nod, maybe exchange a quick smile, and keep walking. Everyone wants to connect. Nobody has made it easy.
So we are making it easy. On Sunday July 19th, Happy Tails Club is hosting its first ever dog meetup in Westerpark. Free, relaxed, no agenda. Just Amsterdam dog owners finally meeting each other properly.

What to Expect
This is not a structured event with speakers or a programme. It is a morning in a park with dogs and the people who love them. Here is what we are planning:
Amsterdam has tens of thousands of dogs. This is your chance to actually meet the people behind them - your neighbours, your future park regulars.
We will bring samples from the July Happy Tails Club treat box. Your dog gets to try before you commit to a subscription.
Want your dog featured on the Happy Tails Club website and newsletter? Bring them, we will take the shot.
Seriously. Dogs run, owners chat, everyone gets some fresh air. That is it. We are not going to make you sit through a presentation.
Amsterdam has an incredible dog community that has never had a place to meet. July 19th is that place.
Why Westerpark?
Westerpark is one of Amsterdam's most dog-friendly parks. It has dedicated off-leash zones, wide open grass areas, and enough space that a group of excited dogs and their owners will not disturb anyone. It is also centrally located and easy to reach by bike, tram, or on foot from most neighbourhoods.
We will send the exact meeting point to everyone who RSVPs the evening before the meetup. We want to keep it personal - not a giant public post that attracts 200 people at once. This first one is for the community.
What to Bring
This is Just the Beginning
We are planning to make this a regular thing - a monthly or bi-monthly meetup in different parks around Amsterdam. Westerpark in July, Vondelpark in August, somewhere new every time.
The goal is to build something real. Not a Facebook group with 800 members who never meet. A community of dog owners who actually know each other, share recommendations, look out for each other's dogs at the park, and make life in Amsterdam a little better for everyone.
July 19th is where it starts. We would love to see you there.
